Read Timothy’s Story
Timothy is a support worker in our Brisbane North branch.
I love working for CNHC. They look after their clients and workers, always ensuring we are ok.
I once informed the office that a client was struggling with the cost of living. The office went far and beyond to help all participants in need with a clothing/food drive. I was very happy they could help and appreciate all they do for the Participants.

have a question about our Community Access Services?
Here are some of the questions we are often asked. Everyone has unique needs, so please contact us with your questions.

Does the community activity need to be an NDIS Goal?
Yes. If you want to use NDIS funding to support your activity, it must be aligned with your NDIS goals. We can work with your support coordinator and NDIS plan manager to work out which bucket of your NDIS funding is most appropriate.

What are your transport rates?
We believe that all people have a right to community access. We aim to keep our fees reasonable for the level of transport we provide. As a registered NDIS provider, we publish our transport prices . And they are also available in hard copy on request. Contact us if you would like a copy.

What kind of NDIS transport can you provide?
We discuss your support needs with you and work out what level of accessible transport you need. We can provide from standard cars to wheelchair-accessible vehicles. So that you feel safe and secure in your travel with us. Our support workers all have the appropriate licences and training to get you safely to your destination.

Can you support me on holiday?
Yes. Everyone has the right to a holiday. And some of us need support to achieve that. Where it’s part of your NDIS goals, we can provide a disability support worker to support your holiday. We can help you go on holiday locally, regionally, interstate – and even internationally.

Can my Support Workers help with transport?
Providing transport will be dependent on your funding for transport in your NDIS plan. If you do not have transport funding, and wish for the Support Workers to use your vehicle to transport you, please reach out to your Service Coordinator who will provide you with our Vehicle Policy and agreement forms.
